OUR TEACHERS

All of the teachers at Stage West are professionally trained West End musical theatre performers. In previous years, we have had performers from West End smash hits; Matilda, Charlie & the Chocolate Factory, War Horse, Mamma Mia!, Fame, Stephen Ward, We Will Rock You, Starlight Express, Mary Poppins and Les Miserables!

Our principals and best friends, Laura and Hollie, studied together at the Arts Educational Schools, London. Since then, they have performed, directed, choreographed and taught in both London’s West End and around the world.

LAURA BRADLEY

PRINCIPAL

Laura trained at The Arts Educational Schools London, gaining a BA(Hons) Musical Theatre. Since graduating she has worked both in the UK and abroad as a performer and teacher of all styles of dance & most recently choreographed for MTV’s Top 5 most watched show, ‘Plain Jane’.

As a teacher, Laura has years of experience and has worked for Stagecoach, Guildford School of Acting, The Urdang Academy, S.O.T.A Stage School, Mo’s Stage School, Jeanine Greville Dance Academies and The Read Dance and Theatre College, Reading.

Professional credits include; LOSERVILLE Original West End Cast/West Yorkshire Playhouse (Dance Captain & Swing), A TRIBUTE TO GLEE Dubai, WE WILL ROCK YOU UK & European Tour, NEVER FORGET UK Tour (Stacey/Cover Annie), MAMMA MIA! International Tour (1st Cover Lisa), 42ND STREET (Assistant Choreographer), P&O WORLD CRUISE, Dancer for LISA SCOTT-LEE’s UK Tour and China, ALADDIN Malvern Theatre (Princess Jasmine) and several seasons at the Hexagon Theatre, Reading.

She has also recently been featured in television commercials for Premier Inn, Burger King, Vodafone, TGI Fridays, SKY 3D and the Mars Football World Cup.

Laura has since left the industry to become a mummy to her three amigos Harrison, Florence and Serena 🙂

HOLLIE TAYLOR

PRINCIPAL

Hollie trained at Arts Educational Schools London where she received a First Class BA(Hons) Degree & Anthony Meindl’s Actor Workshop London and New York

Hollie has worked as an acting, dance and musical teacher alongside her performing career for West End Stage, Broadway Weekends, West End Workshops, S.O.T.A Stage School, Berkshire Theatre School. Travelling the world as a children’s theatre director and casting assistant for Debbie O’brien Casting.

Theatre credits include: Enchantress of The Ocean in TREASURE ISLAND at The Harlow Playhouse, Dana in SOHO CINDERS at The Charing Cross Theatre (2019 OFFIE Nominated for best supporting actress in a Musical.) Marina The Cleaner in FLAT OUT at Upstairs At The Gatehouse (2019 OFFIE Nominated for best supporting actress in a Play.) Jocelyn Jollygoode in SCROOGE at Leicester Curve. Ginnie/ Nurse in GOODNIGHT MISTER TOM in the West End and on tour. Swing and Understudy Miss Honey in MATILDA THE MUSICAL for the RSC. Veronica Allerdyce in the original cast of BETTY BLUE EYES at the Novello Theatre, Lambchops in FAME THE MUSICAL, The original revival cast of OLIVER! at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane, Kelsi in HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL at the Hammersmith Apollo. HIGH SOCIETY, UK Tour.

FILM/TV credits include; CASUALTY (BBC1), MATILDA THE MOVIE for NETFLIX, Frannie Squeers in NICK NICKLEBY for BBC1, Bloody Mary in THE BLOODY MARY SHOW and THE MAIDS.

Hollies work as a voice artist includes BRAVE BUNNIES for MILKSHAKE, BEST BUGS FOREVER for DISNEY, BIG TREE CITY, BAT PAT and WORD PARTY for NETFLIX, DEE DEE: THE LITTLE SORCERESS, LITTLE PEOPLE as well as other animated roles for NICKELODEON and NETFLIX. She has also voiced multiple characters in video games such as ARKNIGHTS, ANOTHER EDEN and AGATHA CHRISTIE – HERCULE POIROT as well as several audio books and commercials for PENQUIN RANDOM HOUSE.

Management & Swing Teacher

Esme is a 2021 ArtsEd graduate and has since taken up parts in a variety of cabaret and performances across the West End as well as being involved in some exciting new workshops. She has a huge passion for this industry and loves being able to pass on her knowledge to the kids at Stage West. Esme is very excited to be taking on a new role as part of the management staff as well as being able to stand in for each discipline and can not wait to get started and meet all of the Stage West talent!

Elsie is currently in her final year at ArtsEd studying the BA in Musical Theatre.

She has studied all types of dance since she was a child and has a passion for teaching and choreography as well as performing.
She has been fortunate enough to work with Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures, performing in Romeo and Juliet, Richard Alston and Nevill Holt Opera.

Caitlyn is an actor who graduated from ArtsEd London with a BA Hons in Musical Theatre in 2022. Professional credits include: Bella in Berlusconi (Southwark Playhouse). Credits whilst training include: Squidward Q. Tentacles in The SpongeBob Musical (ArtsEd), Ensemble in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (ArtsEd). Caitlyn was a finalist of the Stephen Sondheim Society Student Performer of the Year 2022.

Amy Goater

Amy Goater

Drama Teacher

Amy trained in Musical Theatre at KSA Performing arts. After leaving college Amy has had a long career in the cabaret industry. She has spent many years as a touring cabaret artist around the UK and Europe. Additionally to working as a soloist, you can find Amy playing her alter ego “Strawberry Sundae ” who is part of comedy vocal group “The Sundaes’ ‘.
The Sundaes were featured on BBC1s ‘All Together Now’ and were lucky enough to make it to the final. The Sundaes are a sensational international act and have been seen all around the UK in the top holiday parks, many seasons in Mallorca and as headliners in Pride events all over the UK and Gran Canaria.

Not only does Amy have over 10 years of experience in the field but she has spent her time teaching Drama to children ages 4-15. Her bubbly, nurturing teaching skills have seen her students excel in their learning.

Abi Egan

Mini Stars Teacher

Abi has been a part of the Stage West team for over a year now, co-leading Mini Stars sessions and regularly assisting our workshops.

Abi finished her training at the BRIT school this year, where she has performed in several productions. Her most recent being the lead of Cassie in “The Taxidermists daughter” By Kate Moss. She completed the course with Distinctions in her UAL, Level 2 and 3 Extended Diploma in Performing Arts.
Abi is currently transitioning into producing and production management via an internship with a television and broadcasting company.

Mini Stars Teacher

Beth graduated from ArtsEd in 2020 after receiving her BA (Hons) Degree in Musical Theatre. She has since made her professional debut in a workshop for a brand new musical, Worlds Apart, performed in Beauty and the Beast over the Christmas period in Hereford and performed in various concerts and cabarets over the years. She is very excited to be a part of the Stage West team!
